know that before Gandhi became what everyone

knows as the great Mahatma, which means the great
soul, he was a barista, he was a lawyer, who had grad-
uated from England, in law. And he spent most of his
youth in South Africa. So, he didn’t even think of him-
self as Indian, although he was of Indian heritage. His
inheritance. His ancestors came from Gujarat, India,

etc. And if you look at his old photographs, he is
dressed in a 3-piece suit with a waistcoat and a tie, and
a watch and what we call a top hat and wearing these
clothes as a British trained lawyer.
