14 짐승 앞에서 받은 바 이적을 행함으로 땅에 거하는 자들을 미혹하

며 땅에 거하는 자들에게 이르기를 칼에 상하였다가 살아난 짐승

을 위하여 우상을 만들라 하더라 개역개정
Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of

으로 말하게 하고 또 짐승의 우상에게 경배하지 아니하는 자는 몇

이든지 다 죽이게 하더라 개역개정
The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of
the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who re-

fused to worship the image to be killed. NIV
And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the
image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as

would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. KJV

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and
