It was 2006. I’m standing outside my doctor’s office holding antidepressant 항울약

woman on Wall Street, working non-stop. I had a new boss 무능한
that made me feel very incompetent. Two of my dear friends
had just announced their pregnancy, while I recently became
single. I was very frustrated and completely helpless.

one priority. Those days, I was doing Kundalini yoga.
Kundalini is energy; it refers to the power within each of us.
And through the practice, the physical, mental, and medi-

tative practice, we awaken that power. So what made the most
difference for me was the breathing techniques in these
classes. Very quickly, I noticed just minutes of focused breath-
ing, I was able to relieve stress, emotions, and feel really calm.
These short breathing tools became my tools to survive.
